The Great Virginia Beach

There are some really beautiful homes in Virginia Beach out there just waiting to be found. But with almost 2000 homes for sale in Virginia Beach alone, where to begin?
You can start online but be careful! Before you know it, you will have spent hundreds of hours looking at pictures of Virginia Beach homes and be more overwelmed than when you started your home search. Staring at a computer into the wee hours of the morning is no way to look for a new home.
It is time to go house hunting!
So stand up, stretch, grab your phone and call me right this second and say...
"Hi Will, my name is _________. I got your number from your website and I need you to help me find a beautiful home in Virginia Beach. Where do I begin?"
Then I will say "Hi __________! I am so glad you called me because I know exactly how to find you the perfect home in Virginia Beach and the best neighborhood for you and your family."
You see, happiness in Virginia Beach has as much to do with finding the right neighborhood as it does finding the right house. Right now, there is a beautiful home for sale in a terrible neighborhood. You don't want to live there. You want to live in a great neighborhood. Home Prices In
Virginia Beach
Are Stable
Home prices in Virginia Beach have stabilized. If you bought a home in 2009, its value has remained the same all the way through 2010 up until today. The great news for buyers is that today's values are 20-30% off their highs. Do you hear that rumbling? That's the sound of the economy turning around and inflation gearing up for a big climb. It is time to put away the fear we all experienced from the bursting housing bubble and lean forward. Times are changing.
Looking to buy? There are some great reasons to jump in now.
1. Prices have stabilized in Virginia Beach. I have the data to prove it. Real estate markets are local and Virginia Beach is healthy.
2. Mortgage interest rates are at historic lows. Combine this with the drop in prices and your monthly mortgage today is nearly half of what it would have been in 2006.
3. Inflation is coming. It is the reason your parents bought a home for $100,000 in 1980 that is worth $400,000 today.
I have heard several people mention that home prices will fall if interest rates rise. Historically this has not been true. If you are curious, read "Mortgage Rates Jump. Will Home Prices Fall?"
"So if homes are such a good deal, how come you didn't buy one?" Funny you should ask. I did buy one, last summer. We moved into one of my favorite neighborhoods in Virginia Beach because we found a great deal, and the rates were so low...

"Will then took us to view over 30 homes in several different neighborhoods in Virginia Beach. There was no pressure to put an offer down. In fact, he encouraged us to take our time and consider all options. This was far different from the experience we had the first time we had bought a home. He listened to all of our concerns, respected all of our family’s needs, and truly emphasized the importance of choosing the right neighborhood as well as the right home. He was so patient with both of us and never tired of answering our many questions."

"His experience was invaluable..."
"I started my house hunt with an email to Will Layton after interviewing several other realtors. His knowledge and patience were immediately impressive and he worked hard to understand exactly what my wife and I were looking for in our first home purchase. When my wife and I got to town, Will had translated our emails and phone conversations into a variety of properties that met all our expectations.
His knowledge of the Virginia Beach area was impressive and he answered all our questions as we narrowed down our search. As we made our offer, his experience was invaluable and he took all the mystery and stress out of the entire closing process.
His advice and recommendations were always right on the mark and I couldn’t be more impressed with the service we received. Will get absolute top marks in my book and I’ll be using his services again when we need a realtor again!”
