About Michelle Crumley
Michelle Crumley was born and raised in Kennesaw, Georgia, where she spent a lot of time in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. She went to North Cobb High School and graduated from GA State University with a BS in Business.
The majority of her summers were spent as a camp counselor for the local YMCA. It was here that Michelle met her husband, Mike Crumley. Mike joined the Navy and was assigned to Seal Team Two. In 1992, Michelle joined him in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where they spent the next ten years.
During this time Michelle began working in the financial industry as a manager for USAA in their underwriting department. It was also here in Virginia Beach that Michelle began one of the biggest challenges of her life when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She will be the first to agree with the saying “Bald Is Beautiful”. (Editors note - the hair has grown back, see the picture above)
In 2002 at their request, the Navy took Michelle and Mike to Kodiak Island, Alaska. Over the next four years every free moment was spent fishing, hiking, skiing, etc. Michelle also found her calling as a mortgage loan officer for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
She loves educating her clients on home financing, making the process fun and easy, and working to exceed her customer’s expectations. Ultimately, the Navy has brought Michelle and Mike back to Virginia Beach, Virginia. Michelle transferred internally with Wells Fargo and continues to make homeownership dreams a reality for hundreds of people.
