2010 Will Be The Best Year Ever!
The housing market in Virginia Beach was far more active than I would have predicted last year at this time. But we did not know that mortgage rates would fall so far. Or that there would be so many great deals (if you knew where to look). Or that the government would hand out so much free cash in the form of tax credits for buyers.
You can buy 50% more home today than you could have three years ago. Nothing says "On Sale" like a $150,000 price reduction.
"So if homes are such a good deal, how come you didn't buy one?" Funny you should ask. I did buy one, last summer. We moved into my favorite neighborhood in Virginia Beach because we found a great deal, and the rates were so low...
So will 2010 be the best year ever? I like to think so.
